Piotr Nierychło
Piotr Nierychło (29 April 1921 – 29 February 1976) was a Polish football player and manager. Football Nierychło started his playing career with AKS Chorzów. In 1946 he joined Lechia Gdańsk, with whom he played for 6 seasons playing a total of 76 games. Despite only scoring 2 goals for Lechia he scored Lechia's first goal in the Polish top division, scoring against KS Cracovia (football), Cracovia from a direct freekick. After his playing career Nierychło moved into management, first managing the Lechia Gdańsk II and Lechia's Academy, Lechia Gdańsk second team from 1957 to 1960. During his time with the Lechia II team, he led the team to the junior championship title. In 1960 Nierychło became the manager of the Lechia first team, leaving the role in 1961. AKS Chorzów
AKS Chorzów is a sports club based in Chorzów, Poland. It is one of the earliest sports organizations in Upper Silesia and is still well-known nationally for its football and handball teams. The club also made its mark on the international stage: Halina Richter-Górecka was part of the gold-medal winning women's 100m relay team at the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games; tennis player Danuta Wieczorek appeared at Wimbledon as a junior. Lechia Gdańsk
Lechia Gdańsk () is a Polish football club based in Gdańsk. The club was founded in 1945 by people expelled from Lwów, who were supporters of Poland's oldest football team Lechia Lwów, founded in 1903. The club's name comes from Lechia, a poetic name for Poland, and is a continuation of the name used by the club based in Lwów. In their early years, Lechia enjoyed some success, most notably finishing third in the Polish top division, before spending decades in the second and third tiers. In the early 1980s, Lechia won the Polish Cup, the Polish SuperCup, and played in a European competition for the first time. After having two mergers with other teams in the 1990s the club had to restart from the sixth tier in 2001. Lechia Gdańsk II And Lechia's Academy
The Akademia Lechia Gdańsk (''Lechia Gdańsk Academy'') is Lechia Gdańsk's academy section of the football club. Lechia Gdańsk II also serve as the team's official 2nd team. The Lechia Gdańsk II team is also sometimes referred to as Lechia II Gdańsk and as LG2. The Academy Since the early years of the clubs formation they have often had an academy to some degree with the focus of developing youth players for the first team. In 2010 Lechia Gdańsk and Grupa Lotos set up the Akademia Piłkarska Lechia Gdańsk (APLG) ( en, Football Academy Lechia Gdańsk) meaning that development of youth players could be done away from the club itself, a decision which meant the club could focus more on the first team and because it was expected that it would be easier for the academy to get addition funds if it was not totally connected to the club.
