''Pink Cloud'' is the fourth extended play by electronic duo Pegboard Nerds. Pink Cloud was released on 21 October 2015, by independent electronic music label Monstercat to help fund breast cancer research. Background and composition Odden and Parsberg announced Pink Cloud, stating "We are excited to share this new project with the world. It's a new sound we've been working on for the past couple months, but more importantly, we are on a mission to change lives with our music. We invite you to take a step into our world, Nerd Nation". Reception and release ''Pink Cloud'' was released on 21 October 2015, to raise money for Breast Cancer research and to raise awareness under the ''Fuck Cancer'' initiative. Pink Cloud peaked at No. 2 on the iTunes Dance charts and became widely successful, raising over $20,000 for the cause. Pegboard Nerds
Pegboard Nerds is a Scandinavian electronic music group, consisting of Norwegian DJ Alexander Odden and Danish DJ Michael Parsberg. The name Pegboard Nerds is an anagram of the duo's surnames, Odden and Parsberg. The duo first met in 2005 and formed the group in 2011. Previously, their records were released under separate projects and both have been producing since the 1990s. On 21 October 2015, the duo released ''Pink Cloud'' to fund breast cancer research which went to number 2 on iTunes Dance Albums, and into the Top 10 on ''Billboard'' Dance albums. In 2015, their collaboration with Jauz, a single titled "Get on Up", was one of the top bass house songs of the year. Morgan Wolf Page (born May 31, 1981) is an American DJ and music producer. His tracks include "The Longest Road", "Fight for You" and "In the Air". Page has received two Grammy Award nominations; a personal nomination for best remix with Nadia Ali and in 2009 his song was nominated for best remix; "The Longest Road" (deadmau5 Remix). Rusko (musician)
Christopher William Mercer (born 26 January 1985), known by stage name Rusko, is a British electronic music producer and DJ from York, England. History Rusko was born in Leeds and brought up in nearby York. He grew up in Wheldrake just outside of the city and attended Fulford School. He later graduated from Leeds College of Music with a degree in Music Performance. Immersed in the world of dubstep through Leeds based event "Sub Dub" which was held at the West Indian Centre, Rusko moved to London to work with the record label Sub Soldiers with now no longer associated act Caspa.
