Carlos Antonio Pini Order of the British Empire, OBE (15 April 1902 – 1 January 1989) was a cello, cellist, known as a soloist, orchestral section leader and chamber musician. He was principal cellist of five major British orchestras between 1932 and 1976, and a teacher at the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Wendy Pini ''née'' Fletcher, (born June 4, 1951) and Richard Pini (born July 19, 1950) are the husband-and-wife team responsible for creating the well-known '' Elfquest'' series of comics, graphic novels and prose works. They are also known as WaRP (as in Warp Graphics). Early life Wendy Fletcher was born in San Francisco in 1951, and from an early age demonstrated the talents later to come to fruition as a professional illustrator, and eventually as the creator of ''Elfquest''. The Batu Islands are an archipelago of Indonesia located in the Indian Ocean, off the west coast of Sumatra, between Nias and Siberut. The three primary islands, of approximately equal size, are Pini, Tanahmasa, and Tanahbala. There are seventy-five smaller islands, of which the largest are Sipika, Tello and Sigata (all off the west coast of Tanahmasa), Simuk (considerably further to the west) and Bojo (to the south of Tanahbala); less than half are inhabited. The total land area of the seven administrative districts is 1,201.1 km2. The islands are governed as a part of South Nias regency within North Sumatra province. Victor Vlad Delamarina (until 1972 Satu Mic; hu, Lugoskisfalu) is a commune in Timiș County, Romania. ''Pini'' is a 2010 web comedy series which was broadcast on Ynet. It was shot in London, Cambridge and Paris and was produced by Market Master. The Series was created and written by the star, Tomer Barzide. It is currently in its third season. It is widely regarded as a "pioneering project" in Israel. Plot The series follows Pini (Tomer Barzide) after he leaves military service as a cook in Israel and travels to London to become a successful chef (like Gordon Ramsay). He finds a flat share with Tom Jones (Tom Jones) as he struggles to adjust to life in London. Production The series was produced by Market Master. He won three top-level European-wide club championships as the head coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv. He won the FIBA SuproLeague championship in 2001, and the EuroLeague championship in 2004 and 2005.
