Old Town Chinatown is the official Chinatown of the Northwest section of Portland, Oregon. The Willamette River forms its eastern boundary, separating it from the Lloyd District and the Kerns and Buckman neighborhoods. The Portland Saturday Market is an outdoor arts and crafts market in Portland, Oregon. It is the largest continuously operated outdoor market in the United States. It is held every Saturday and Sunday from the beginning of March through December 24, in Tom McCall Waterfront Park underneath Burnside Bridge and south of the bridge, as well as within an adjacent plaza just across Naito Parkway, extending west to the Skidmore Fountain. James Beard Public Market
The James Beard Public Market is a proposed public market in Portland, Oregon. It is named after James Beard, a Portland-born chef and cookbook writer. The market was planned to be located at the west end of the Morrison Bridge in downtown Portland, in what are currently parking lots, but this site was dropped in November 2016 after concerns over pedestrian accessibility due to the bridgehead ramps. Background and history Founded in 2009 as Olympic Provisions, the company began as Oregon's first USDA salumeria in a 900 square foot production facility attached to a European-inspired restaurant in the Olympic Cereal Mill building. Olympia Provisions Public House, formerly known as OP Wurst, is a public house in Portland, Oregon owned and operated by Olympia Provisions. History In 2016, Olympia Provisions opened a small bar-restaurant in Pine Street Market called OP Wurst. The restaurant served artisan frankfurters, sausages, and beer. Later that year, the company opened a second OP Wurst location in Oregon City at Oregon City Brewing. In March 2017, a third location opened on Division Street in Southeast Portland's Richmond neighborhood. The Division Street location was the first OP Wurst located in a stand-alone building.
