Pierre Salvadori
Pierre Salvadori (born 8 November 1964) is a French film director from Santo-Pietro-di-Venaco, known for works on romantic comedies such as '' Hors de prix'' (2006). Life and career In 1989 Salvadori wrote his first screenplay, which would then become the hit film ' (''Wild Target''), which he directed in 1993. The film garnered the young director a César nomination for Best First Work, though he had already tested his directorial capabilities the year before with the short film ''Ménage''. ''Cible émouvante'' was remade in London by Jonathan Lynn as ''Wild Target'' (2009) In 1995, Salvadori began working with Marie Trintignant and Guillaume Depardieu, whom he cast in the highly successful films ''The Apprentices'' and ''Comme elle respire''. And in 2000, Salvadori switched gears from comedy to the dark thriller ''The Sandmen''. The Sandmen
The Sandmen is a Danish rock band that was formed in Copenhagen in 1985. The band broke up in 1995, but was reunited in 2003 on the occasion of the release of the compilation album ''Beauties and Beasts''. In 2006 they revived releasing their studio album, the first in over a decade called ''White Trash Red Front'', their biggest success. In 2014, the band has become a trio formation of Allan Vegenfeldt, Michael Illo Rasmussen and Stefan Moulvad with a new release ''Den Bedste dag'' and a new departure for the band in its first album in Danish after 8 albums in English. ''Priceless'' (french: Hors de prix) is a 2006 French comedy film directed by Pierre Salvadori, and starring Audrey Tautou and Gad Elmaleh. According to the director, the film is inspired by the 1961 Blake Edwards film '' Breakfast at Tiffany's''. Plot Jean (Gad Elmaleh) is a waiter/barman at a luxury hotel. Irène ( Audrey Tautou), is a gold digger who convinces wealthy men to fund her lavish lifestyle in exchange for companionship and sex. When Irène's elderly lover gets drunk and falls asleep on her birthday, she goes to the hotel bar, where she assumes the barman is absent and Jean is a millionaire guest. Rather than correcting her, he makes her several impressive cocktails and they then retire, tipsy, to the hotel's Imperial suite where they spend the night together.
