Longsheng () is a town in Longsheng Various Nationalities Autonomous County, Guangxi, China. As of 2018 it had a population of 37,000 and an area of . History In 1742, Longsheng was formed as a city after the suppression of a rebellion led by Wu Jinyin (). In 1945, it was known as "Rixin Street" (). Zhuang People
The Zhuang (; ; za, Bouxcuengh, italic=yes; ) are a Tai-speaking ethnic group who mostly live in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Southern China. Xun River
The Xun River ( Chinese: 浔江, pinyin: Xún Jiāng, jyutping: ''Cham4 Gong1'') is a short section of the main branch of the Pearl River system upstream from the Xi Jiang in China. Although less than 200km long, it is of considerable importance in Guangxi Province as it drains the majority of the province. The Xun River in name is formed by the Yu and Qian rivers, with the Qian being the greater of the two tributaries.
