Phú Quốc National Park ( vi, Vườn quốc gia Phú Quốc) is a national park on Phú Quốc Island, in the Kiên Giang Province of Vietnam's Mekong Delta The Mekong Delta ( vi, Đồng bằng Sông Cửu Long, lit=Nine Dragon River Delta or simply vi, Đồng Bằng Sông Mê Kông, lit=Mekong River Delta, label=none), also known as the Western Region ( vi, Miền Tây, links=no) or South-weste ... Region. The park covers approximately 70% of the island. This park includes land and sea area, protecting oceanic species such as dugong. This park was established by the Decision 91/2001/QĐ-TTg dated 8 June 2001 signed by the Prime Minister of Vietnam on upgrading Northern Phú Quốc Islands Preservation Zone to Phu Quoc National Park. Location Phu Quoc National Park includes Northern Phú Quốc Islands Preservation Zone, Ham Rong Mount, Ganh Dau and Cua Can. Hà Tiên
Hà Tiên is a Provincial city in Kiên Giang Province, Mekong Delta in Vietnam. Its area is and the population as of 2019 is 81,576. The city borders Cambodia to the west. Hà Tiên is a tourist site of the region thanks to its beaches and landscapes. Etymology The name "Hà Tiên" is derived from the Sino-Vietnamese word: 河 僊 or 河仙, meaning "river spirit". History A settlement and a port seem to have existed at the site of the present town of Hà Tiên from a very early period. Ptolemy's ''Geography'' identified a town there as ''Akadra'' and that it was the port for the Cambodian district of ''Pithonobaste'' - Banteay Meas, all this being part of the Kingdom of Funan.
