Photocopier (film)
''Photocopier'' ( id, Penyalin Cahaya) is a 2021 Indonesian crime mystery drama film, co-written and directed by Wregas Bhanuteja in his feature-length directorial debut. The film had its world premiere at the 26th Busan International Film Festival in October 2021, in the New Currents competition. The film won a total of twelve Citra Awards out of seventeen nominations, including the awards for Best Picture and Best Director. It won the most Citra Awards by a single film. Plot Suryani (colloquially Sur) is a college student, also part of her campus' theater group Mata Hari. When their performance is accepted for a festival in Kyoto, Sur parties with the other members at leader Rama Soemarno's house; her strict father warns her to not drink alcohol. Wregas Bhanuteja
Raphael Wregas Bhanuteja is an Indonesian film director and screenwriter. In 2016, Wregas became the first Indonesian director to win an award at Cannes Film Festival, for his short film '' Prenjak''. Biography Wregas Bhanuteja was born in Yogyakarta and learned short film making in De Britto College High School Yogyakarta. After graduating high school in 2010, he attended the Faculty of Film and TV, Jakarta Institute of Arts, majoring in film directing. During his study, Wregas produced several short films, including ''Senyawa'' (2012), shot on 16 mm celluloid film. In 2014, Wregas graduated from Jakarta Institute of Arts with his final project, a short film called ''Lemantun'' (2014) about a cupboard inherited by his grandmother. In Greek mythology, Medusa (; Ancient Greek: Μέδουσα "guardian, protectress"), also called Gorgo, was one of the three monstrous Gorgons, generally described as winged human females with living venomous snakes in place of hair. The 41st Indonesian Film Festival ceremony, presented by Indonesian Film Board and Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, honored the achievement in Indonesian cinema released from 1 October 2020 to 31 August 2021.
