Philmont (band)
Philmont was an American pop punk influenced Christian rock band based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. They were signed to Forefront Records / EMI CMG until Spring 2010. Their debut album, ''Attention'', was released on August 25, 2009. They released two independent EPs before breaking up in August 2012. History Philmont was formed by Scott Taube, Josiah Prince, Abe Hege, and Matthew Arcaini in Summer of 2005. They recorded their independent debut EP ''Take Cover'' in December of that year. One year later, Philmont traveled to Eudora, Kansas to record their ''Photosynthetic'' EP at Black Lodge Studios with Ed Rose. Matthew Arcaini, who left the band after ''Take Cover'', produced a track on the ''Photosynthetic'' EP as well. The band has also recorded some demos in 2005. The Transition EP
''The Transition EP'' is the follow-up to Christian rock band Philmont's full-length ''Attention'', and their first release since parting ways with Forefront Records. Philmont released the EP independently on October 19, 2010. It is available via digital outlets such as iTunes, at Philmont concerts, and through Philmont's online merchandise store. During the recording process, Philmont realized that they did not have sufficient funding to mix and master the six songs they had been working on. They set up an online fundraiser via Kickstarter and set a goal of $4,000 toward which fans could pledge. In return, backers were offered exclusive rewards from the band (signed copies of the EP, bonus tracks, T-shirts, personalized videos, etc.) that got better with increasing investment amounts. Fireflight is an American Christian rock band formed in Eustis, Florida in 1999. The band was signed by Flicker Records. The band currently consists of Dawn Michele, Glenn and Wendy Drennen and Justin Cox (who left in 2013 but rejoined in 2019).
