Philippe DeRouville
Philippe DeRouville (born August 7, 1974) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. Playing career DeRouville was a top prospect in junior hockey but his NHL tenure lasted all of three games in the 1990s. He bounced around the minors for five years before playing in various European leagues. Born in Victoriaville, Quebec, DeRouville played in the QAAA with Magog before joining Longueuil Collège Français of the QMJHL. He was chosen 115th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1992 then returned to junior for two more years. DeRouville represented Canada at the 1993 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. The gifted youngster was named to the league's second all-star team in 1993 and 1994. In 1993–94 his 3.06 goals against average was the best in the QMJHL. Victoriaville
Victoriaville is a town in central Quebec, Canada, on the Nicolet River. Victoriaville is the seat of Arthabaska Regional County Municipality and a part of the Centre-du-Québec (Bois-Francs) region. It is formed by the 1993 merger of Arthabaska, Saint-Victoire-d'Arthabaska and Victoriaville, the name of the last being used for the merged town. Description Victoriaville's size and location have earned it the title ''Capitale des Bois-Francs'', referring to the Bois-Francs region of the province. Basingstoke Bison
The Basingstoke Bison are an English Ice Hockey club from Basingstoke. They currently compete in the NIHL National League and have previously been members of the Ice Hockey Superleague and its successor the Elite Ice Hockey League. History Formed in 1988 as the Basingstoke Beavers, the club became the "Bison" in 1995. Their team logo is very similar to that used by the Buffalo Sabres from 1996–2006. Joining the Superleague in 1996, the Bison dropped out in 1998 and joined the British National League. In 2003 they joined the newly formed Elite Ice Hockey League. Despite being one of the lower-budget teams in the EIHL, the Bison maintained their fan base and greatly enhanced local sponsorships and doubled their season ticket sales. Stevie Lyle
Stevie Lyle (born 4 December 1979 in Cardiff, Wales) is a British former professional ice hockey goaltender. Lyle started and finished his career playing for the Swindon Wildcats of the English Premier Ice Hockey League. Lyle also played at international level for the Great Britain national ice hockey team. Playing career Lyle began his career as a teenager for his hometown Cardiff Devils. He had a brief junior career in the Ontario Hockey League for the Plymouth Whalers in 1997 before returning to Cardiff. In 2001, the Devils went bankrupt and left the British Ice Hockey Superleague, forcing Lyle to find a new club. He signed with the Manchester Storm, but in 2002, the Storm folded due to financial problems and Lyle returned to Cardiff, who were now playing in the British National League. Mike Minard
Michael Edward Roger Minard (born November 1, 1976) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in one National Hockey League game for the Edmonton Oilers during the 1999–00 season. Playing career Minard played with the Chilliwack Chiefs in the British Columbia Junior Hockey League (BCJHL) in the 1994–95 season, earning Coastal Rookie of the Year and Goaltender of the Year honours before he was selected in the fourth round, 83rd overall, by the Edmonton Oilers in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. Most of his career was spent in the American Hockey League, and his lone NHL game came on April 8, 2000 against the Calgary Flames. Minard also played two seasons with the Belfast Giants of the British Elite Ice Hockey League, before returning to the North American minor leagues for a final season, and retired in 2008. Timrå IK is a professional Swedish ice hockey team based in Timrå, north of Sundsvall. It competes in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), which is the top-tier league in Sweden, since being promoted by winning 2021 SHL qualifiers. The Ayr Scottish Eagles were a professional Scottish ice hockey club, from Ayr, Scotland. They were formed in 1996 and played their home games at the Centrum Arena (Prestwick), Centrum Arena.
