Early life and career Huppert was born in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, the daughter of Annick (''née'' Beau; 1914–1990), an English language teacher, and Raymond Huppert (1914–2003), a safe manufacturer. she has a brother and three sisters, including French actress Isabelle Huppert. ''Scorpion'' is a 2007 French action drama film directed by Julien Seri. Plot Angelo is a former street fighter who can't deny his troubled past. Yet he has learned to channel his aggressions by striving for success in Muai Thai. But during a tournament, the officials do him wrong. After an unjustified disqualification, he cannot hide his contempt for his opponent. Although this seals the premature end of his career, the worst is still about to come, because he has made an enemy. The aforementioned opponent believes he ought to teach Angelo a lesson. Diane Kurys (; born 3 December 1948) is a French director, producer, filmmaker and actress. Several of her films as director are semi-autobiographical. Personal life Kurys was born in Lyon, Rhône, France, the younger of two daughters. She is a daughter of Russian and Polish Jewish immigrants, Lena and Michel. Diane Kurys and her older sister spent their early years in Lyon. Like many of her film's characters, she had a difficult relationship with her parents, and her traumatic childhood became a subject in many of her films.
