Pforzheim (electoral District)
Pforzheim is an electoral constituency (German: ''Wahlkreis'') represented in the Bundestag. It elects one member via first-past-the-post voting. Under the current constituency numbering system, it is designated as constituency 279. It is located in northwestern Baden-Württemberg, comprising the city of Pforzheim and the district of Enzkreis. Pforzheim was created for the 1965 federal election. Since 2002, it has been represented by Gunther Krichbaum of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Geography Pforzheim is located in northwestern Baden-Württemberg. As of the 2021 federal election, it comprises the independent city of Pforzheim and the district of Enzkreis. Spessart is a ''Mittelgebirge'', a range of low wooded mountains, in the States of Bavaria and Hesse in Germany. It is bordered by the Vogelsberg, Rhön and Odenwald. Neuburgweier is a part of the city Rheinstetten, which was first established as a municipality in the course of an administrative reform in 1975. In terms of inhabitants and area, it is the smallest of the three city parts - Neuburgweier, Forchheim and . Forchheim
Forchheim () is a town in Upper Franconia (german: Oberfranken) in northern Bavaria, and also the seat of the administrative district of Forchheim. Forchheim is a former royal city, and is sometimes called the Gateway to the Franconian Switzerland, referring to the region of outstanding natural beauty to the north east of the town. Waldbronn is a municipality in the district of Karlsruhe, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated in the northern Black Forest, southeast of Karlsruhe. Geography Waldbronn is located at the border of the Alb-Pfinz-Plateau in the valley of the river Alb. History Waldbronn was founded in 1972 as a result of a municipal restructuring, when the communities Busenbach and Reichenbach merged. A year earlier the community of Etzenrot had been merged with Reichenbach already. The three communities are first mentioned in historic documents in 1292.
