Peugeot Concours Design
The Peugeot Concours Design competition was a wiktionary:Biennial, biennial competition run by the French car manufacturer Peugeot. For each competition, entrants had to submit their designs for a car. A model of the winning design was built by the Peugeot Styling Centre and unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The last competition took place in 2008. History The first contest took place in 2000-2001, with the theme "2020" - a challenge to design a Peugeot car for the year 2020. The contest was announced at the Paris Motor Show in 2000, and culminated in the winning design being built by Peugeot, and unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2001. The Peugeot Moonster is a two-door lunar rover-inspired coupe concept revealed by French automobile manufacturer Peugeot at the 2001 International Motor Show Germany as the winner of the 2000 Peugeot Concours Design competition. An inducement prize contest (IPC) is a competition that awards a cash prize for the accomplishment of a feat, usually of engineering. Automotive design is the process of developing the appearance (and to some extent the ergonomics) of motor vehicles - including automobiles, motorcycles, trucks, buses, coaches, and vans. Peugeot Flux
The Peugeot Flux was a concept car from Peugeot that won the 2007 Peugeot International Design Competition after being unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show that year. The car was designed by a 20-year-old Romanian, Mihai Panaitescu. It was intended to be a sports car, but was flexible enough to be used for light off-roading. The vehicle was powered by hydrogen and constructed of plastic body panels, polyurethane seats and an aluminium chassis. The Flux also featured as downloadable content for ''Project Gotham Racing 4'' (2007), in which an Xbox 360 console can be seen on the right-hand side of the dashboard. The Peugeot Moovie is a 2-door city car concept revealed by French automobile manufacturer Peugeot at the 2005 International Motor Show Germany as the winner of the 2004 Peugeot Concours Design competition. Overview The Peugeot Moovie concept was revealed at International Motor Show Germany on September 12, 2005 in Frankfurt, Germany. It is a 2-door, 2-seat city car and was the winner of the 3rd biennial Peugeot Concours Design concept car design competition held in 2004. Peugeot 4002
The Peugeot 4002 was a bespoke show car created purely as a stylistic exercise at the behest of Peugeot in 2003. Design competition Peugeot introduced a web-based amateur style competition at the 2002 Paris Motor Show, inviting aspiring designers to create a completely unhinged retro-futurist design that incorporated distinct styling features of a historic Peugeot model. A total of 2800 proposals from 90 countries were registered, and Stefan Schulze, a 32-year-old German graphic artist, was selected as the winner. At the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, Schulze was awarded a trophy (La griffe) and €5000, and it was announced that Peugeot would create a full-scale version of the design. Norev is a French manufacturer of die-cast scale model cars. traditionally based in Villeurbanne, a suburb of Lyon. Peugeot (, , ) is a French brand of automobiles owned by Stellantis. The family business that preceded the current Peugeot companies was founded in 1810, with a steel foundry that soon started making hand tools and kitchen equipment, and then bicycles. The Geneva International Motor Show is an annual auto show held in March in the Swiss city of Geneva. The show is hosted at the Palexpo, a convention centre located next to the Geneva Cointrin International Airport.
