Petter Mejlænder
Petter Mejlænder (born 1 May 1952) is a Norwegian journalist, author and translator . Petter Mejlænder has worked as a freelance journalist for several news-agencies. His debut as a writer was ''Out – a mythical lifespan'' in 1976 and he translated books by German psychiatrist Wilhelm Reich, documentary writer Günter Wallraff and the author Hermann Hesse to Norwegian. Mejlænder has also worked as a literary and theater critic. Among his latest books and articles are the biographies of Pushwagner From 1980 Petter Mejlænder worked for the Norwegian Government Information Centre, and from 1987 as information manager for several Norwegian governments, including being the first leader of the government's emergency information centre. Mejlænder was from 1991 to 2000 employed as a journalist at NRK P2, a cultural radio channel, where he primarily worked with cultural news and special programs. Wenche Foss
Eva Wenche Steenfeldt Stang (5 December 1917 – 28 March 2011), better known as Wenche Foss (), was a leading Norwegian actress of stage, screen and television. Personal life Wenche Foss was born to engineer Christian August Steenfeldt-Foss (1878–1960) and Alfhild Røren. Foss grew up with an atheist mother and a devout Christian father; she inherited both views but has stated: "I could not fall asleep without the prayer". Her first marriage was to engineer and film producer Alf Scott-Hansen (1903–1961), a son of port director Alf Scott-Hansen, but the marriage was dissolved. In 1953 she married landowner and industrialist Thomas Stang (1897–1982), thus becoming a sister-in-law of Axel Heiberg Stang and daughter-in-law of Ole A. Stang and Emma Heiberg. Hariton Pushwagner
Terje Brofos (2 May 1940 – 24 April 2018), better known by stage name Hariton Pushwagner, was a Norwegian Pop artist. Early life and education Born as Terje Brofos during a bomb attack in May 1940, he grew in Berg, a neighborhood in the North End of Oslo. In 1944, he was severely injured in a traffic accident. His father Fritjof was an engineer who struggled with alcohol. Arne Næss
Arne Dekke Eide Næss (; 27 January 1912 – 12 January 2009) was a Norwegian philosopher who coined the term " deep ecology", an important intellectual and inspirational figure within the environmental movement of the late twentieth century, and a prolific writer on many other philosophical issues. Næss cited Rachel Carson's 1962 book ''Silent Spring'' as being a key influence in his vision of deep ecology.
