Petr Gabriel
Petr Gabriel (born 17 May 1973) is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a defender. He played for the Czech Republic national team, participating at the Euro 2000. At club level Gabriel played more than 200 matches in the Gambrinus liga. International career Gabriel represented the Czech Republic national team at the Euro 2000. In the decisive group stage match against France, an attempted backpass from Gabriel to his goalkeeper was picked up by Thierry Henry, who scored. The Czech Republic lost 2–1 and ended its participation in the tournament after the group stage despite a 2–0 victory in its last match against Denmark. Personal life Gabriel was born in Prague. DSC Arminia Bielefeld (; full name: ; commonly known as Arminia Bielefeld (), also known as ''Die Arminen'' or ''Die Blauen'' ), or just Arminia (), is a German sports club from Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia. Pavel Srníček
Pavel Srníček (10 March 1968 – 29 December 2015) was a Czech football coach and former professional player who played as a goalkeeper. In a career that lasted from 1990 to 2007, he notably played in the Premier League mainly for Newcastle United. In addition, he represented Sheffield Wednesday, Portsmouth and West Ham United in England's top flight, and also played in Serie A for Brescia, Serie B with Cosenza, in Portugal for Beira-Mar, and in his native country for Baník Ostrava. After retiring, he worked as a goalkeeping coach for his own private school and for AC Sparta Prague. Srníček played internationally for the Czech Republic from 1994 to 2001, earning a total of 49 caps. He was part of their squad that came runners-up at UEFA Euro 96, and was their first-choice goalkeeper when they came third at the 1997 FIFA Confederations Cup and contested UEFA Euro 2000. Adam Gabriel (born 28 March 2001) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Danish Superliga club Midtjylland and the Czech Republic national team. Club career Gabriel began his career in the youth ranks at SK Zbraslav, before moving to Sparta Prague. On 10 August 2021, Gabriel made his debut for Sparta Prague, coming on as an 84th-minute substitute in the UEFA Champions League against Monaco.
