Petr Yan
Petr Evgenyevich Yan (russian: Пётр Евге́ньевич Я́н, translit=Pyotr Yevgenyevich Yan; born 11 February 1993) is a Russian professional mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Bantamweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he is a former UFC Bantamweight Champion. Yan formerly fought in Absolute Championship Berkut where he is a former ACB Bantamweight Champion. As of December 13, 2022, he is #2 in the UFC bantamweight rankings. Petr Ginz
Petr Ginz (1 February 1928 – 28 September 1944) was a Czechoslovak boy of partial Jewish background who was deported to the Theresienstadt concentration camp (known as Terezín, in Czech) during the Holocaust. He was murdered at the age of sixteen when he was transferred to Auschwitz concentration camp and gassed to death upon arrival. His diary was published after his death. Life Ginz was the son of Otto Ginz, the manager of the export department of a Prague textile company and notable Esperantist, and Marie Ginz (née Dolanská). Ginz's father was Jewish, while his mother was not. His parents met at an Esperantist congress. His mother was from Hradec Králové, where her father was a village teacher. Ginz received frequent visits from his relatives at Christmastime, including his grandfather, who owned an antique and rare book shop in Jungmann Square. Ginz was a very intelligent boy. Petr Čech (; born 20 May 1982) is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He also plays semi-professional ice hockey as a goaltender for Chelmsford Chieftains. Described by numerous players, pundits and managers as one of the greatest goalkeepers in history, he is argued, alongside Peter Schmeichel, to be the greatest goalkeeper in Premier League history. Radek Petr (born 24 February 1987) is a Czech footballer who plays as a goalkeeper and is currently free agent. Club career Petr started his career at hometown club Baník Ostrava. Petr Cornelie (born July 26, 1995) is a French professional basketball player for Real Madrid of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. Petr Pavel (born 1 November 1961) is a retired Czech army general who served as the Chair of the NATO Military Committee from 2015 to 2018, and as Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Army from 2012 to 2015. He is a candidate in the 2023 Czech presidential election, to be held in January 2023. Education Pavel graduated from the military gymnasium in Opava. (13 May 1931 in Hradec Králové – 12 November 2014 in Prague) was a Czech agroscientist, university professor and Emeritus Chancellor (Rector Emeritus) of the Czech University of Agriculture Prague.
