Peter Spencer (footballer)
Peter Spencer (born 11 January 1956) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the East Perth Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and North Melbourne Football Club, North Melbourne in the Australian Football League, Victorian Football League (VFL). He is a dual Sandover Medallist, winning the award in 1976 and 1984 and a triple F. D. Book Medallist (best and fairest at East Perth), winning the award 1975 WANFL season, in 1975, 1976 WANFL season, 1976 and 1984 WAFL season, 1984. He played for Western Australia in the 1979 Perth State of Origin Carnival, before moving to Victoria to play for the Kangaroos 1981 VFL season, in 1981 and 1982 VFL season, 1982. His first season in the VFL was impressive, playing nineteen games and kicking the third most goals for the Kangaroos with 26, but injuries restricted him to only five games in 1982. Subiaco, Western Australia
Subiaco (known colloquially as Subi) is an inner-Western suburbs (Perth), western suburb of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. It is approximately west of Perth's central business district, in the City of Subiaco local government area. Historically a working-class suburb containing a mixture of industrial and commercial land uses, since the 1990s the area has been one of Australia's most celebrated urban redevelopment projects. It remains a predominantly low-rise, urban village neighbourhood centred around Subiaco train station and Rokeby Road. Derek Kickett
Derek Thomas Kickett (born 6 October 1962) is a former Australian rules footballer. Kickett played with seven different VFL/AFL, WAFL and SANFL clubs during his career. Early career Derek is related to a number of other past and present high-profile AFL footballers from the Kickett family, including Dale Kickett and Lance "Buddy" Franklin, who are both his nephews. His other nephews are Byron Pickett and Jarrod Garlett. A well-known cousin of Derek Kickett's is Nicky Winmar. Kickett played in the junior ranks at Central District in the South Australian National Football League, including their U-19s Premiership in 1981.
