Old Forge is a borough in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 8,524 at the 2020 census. It is located southwest of downtown Scranton and northeast of Wilkes-Barre. Rouzbeh Rashidi ( fa, روزبه رشیدی; born 23 December 1980, Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian-Irish avant-garde filmmaker and founder of Experimental Film Society. Since 2000, Rashidi produced experimental feature films and numerous volumes of instalments for the Homo Sapiens Project. His films have been associated with the Remodernist Film Movement. Early life Born in Tehran, from an early age, Rashidi collected records most of which he has sold to buy his first camera, VHSc to start making films in the year 2000. Harris Smith (filmmaker)
Harris Smith (born May 8, 1977) is an American filmmaker, media critic and essayist from New York City. He is one of the founding members of the Remodernist film movement and was a participating member of the first comprehensive Remodernist exhibition in the United States, ''Addressing the Shadow and Making Friends with Wild Dogs: Remodernism''. Life and work Smith was born in Washington, D.C., and moved to New York City in 1995. In 2004, he co-founded the "Remodernist" film movement with Jesse Richards, with the aim of promoting a "new spirituality in cinema". Also in 2004, Smith contributed to the book ''Captured: A Film and Video History of the Lower East Side'', edited by Clayton Patterson and published by Seven Stories Press.
