Peter Ranells
Peter Laurence Ranells (born 26 December 1954) is a former English cricketer. Ranells was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm fast-medium. He was born in Bramhall, Cheshire and educated at Adams Grammar School at Newport, Shropshire, Glossop Grammar School and Rossall School.Published by Association of Cricket Statisticians and Historians. Ranells made his debut for Shropshire in the 1974 Minor Counties Championship against Staffordshire. Ranells played Minor counties cricket for Shropshire from 1974 to 1986, which included 52 Minor Counties Championship appearances and 4 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches. He made his List A debut against Surrey in the 1978 Gillette Cup. In this match, took 3 wickets for the cost of 38 runs from 10.4 overs. He made a further List A appearance against Northamptonshire in the 1985 NatWest Trophy. Bramhall is a suburban area in the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. Robin Boyd-Moss
Robin James Boyd-Moss (born 16 December 1959) is a former English professional cricketer who started his career with Bedfordshire in the Minor Counties Championship before playing first-class cricket for Cambridge University and Northamptonshire from 1980 to 1987. Career Boyd-Moss's career was relatively short owing to a series of setbacks: in 1984 (his first full season at Northamptonshire) he broke a thumb while playing, and then contracted hepatitis; a year later, back problems kept him out of action until mid-June; centuries against Lancashire and Glamorgan set him up for a successful season in 1986, only for his form to drop in the closing weeks of the season. Fitness problems restricted him to only half a dozen matches in 1987. Northamptonshire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Northamptonshire.
