Peter Proksch
Peter Proksch (4 February 1935 – 9 December 2012) was an Austrian artist. Born in Vienna, he was the eldest of four children. Alfred Proksch
Alfred Proksch (December 11, 1908 – January 3, 2011) was an Austrian Olympic athlete and graphic designer. The son of one of the co-founders of the Wiener Sport-Club, Proksch took an active interest in both athletics and graphic design from an early age. By the age of 19 he had started his own design company and would later become a founder, then president, of the Confederation of Austrian Graphic Designers. He was also a key figure in the founding of Icograda. By the age of 17, Proksch was a champion pole vaulter and competed internationally, most notably placing 6th in the event at the 1936 Summer Olympics. He broke the Austrian record for the event on eight separate occasions. Even after turning 100, he continued to compete at the World's Masters Championships, often unopposed in his age bracket. Braith-Mali-Museum
The Museum Biberach is a museum with several sections in Biberach an der Riss in Upper Swabia. The museum resides in one of the oldest and biggest buildings from the 16th century in this city. It belongs to the considerable collections in Baden-Württemberg. On 2.800 square meters it presents archaeology, history, art and natural history. Models, all sorts of installations, and computer animations explain the origin and settlement of the Upper Swabian landscape. The collections reveal the life and the terms of employment of the people, such as the notable weaving in the town since the 17th century. The Egon-Schiele-Museum is a museum in Tulln, Lower Austria dedicated to the Austrian painter Egon Schiele, who was born in Tulln. History The ''Egon Schiele-Museum'' was planned in 1980. The jail in Tulln which was built in 1898 has been renovated for that reason. Schiele was in the jail in 1912. The opening of the museum was on June 12, 1990, the 100th anniversary of Egon Schiele's birth. There are more than 100 objects shown in 12 rooms. 90 paintings of Schiele and many photographs of his life and his family are exhibited. On the ground floor there are pieces related to Schiele's childhood in Tulln, as well as relics of his school-time in Klosterneuburg and his time as a student in Vienna. There are a lot of drawings by the young artists. An artist is a person engaged in an activity related to creating art, practicing the arts, or demonstrating an art.
