Christine "Chris" Melnick (born 1950) is a former politician in Manitoba, Canada. She was a cabinet minister in the governments led by New Democratic Party (NDP) Premiers Gary Doer and Greg Selinger. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Melnick received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba and subsequently received a master's degree in library and information science from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. Peter Mansbridge
Peter Mansbridge (born July 6, 1948) is a British-born Canadian retired news anchor. From 1988 to 2017, he was chief correspondent for CBC News and anchor of '' The National,'' CBC Television's flagship nightly newscast. He was also host of CBC News Network's '' Mansbridge One on One''. Mansbridge has received many awards and accolades for his journalistic work, including an honorary doctorate from Mount Allison University, where he served as chancellor until the end of 2017. Shelagh Rogers, OC, is a Canadian broadcast journalist based in British Columbia. She is the host and producer of CBC Radio One's '' The Next Chapter'', and former chancellor of the University of Victoria. Background Rogers grew up in Ottawa, Ontario. The Arrogant Worms
The Arrogant Worms are a Canadian musical comedy trio founded in 1991 that parodies many musical genres. They are well known for their humorous on-stage banter in addition to their music. The members since 1995 are Trevor Strong (vocals), Mike McCormick (guitar, vocals), and Chris Patterson (bass, vocals). History The Arrogant Worms came together in 1991 to do a few spots on campus radio station CFRC at Queen's University at Kingston, and quickly moved to doing spots on CBC Radio, particularly on Jack Farr's ''The Radio Show''. Founding members were Strong, McCormick, John Whytock, and Steve Wood. Wood left the band in 1991, and Whytock left in 1995. He was replaced by Patterson. Denise Anne Donlon, (born 22 February 1956) is a Canadian business executive, television producer, author, public speaker, host, and member of the Order of Canada. Born in Toronto, Ontario, she joined MuchMusic in 1985 as a host and producer of ''The NewMusic''.
