Pete Caringi, Jr.
Pete Caringi (born March 27, 1955) is an American soccer coach. He was named the 2014 National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division I Coach of the Year. Playing career A former All-American and Three time captain, He played college soccer for the University of Baltimore.A four time first team all conference and two time All-South All-American In 1973 they lost in the final four to Cal Fullerton. In 1975 the Baltimore team won the NCAA National Championship in Seattle defeating Seattle-Pacific 3–1 in front of over 7,500 fans. Caringi's 2 Goals led the Bees in the final He still holds the All-Time Record for goals with 70. e signed for the Washington Diplomats in 1978. He is a member of the University of Baltimore athletic hall of fame. The UMBC Retrievers are the athletic teams that represent the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, located in Catonsville, Maryland, in intercollegiate athletics as a member of the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), primarily competing in the America East Conference since the 2003–04 academic year. The Retrievers previously competed in the Northeast Conference (NEC) from 1998–99 to 2002–03; and in the Big South Conference from 1992–93 to 1997–98; while they also competed in the Mason–Dixon Conference at the NCAA Division II ranks: the first variation of it from 1972–73 to 1977–78; and the second variation from 1983–84 to 1987–88. Mike Noonan
Michael Noonan (June 30, 1961) is a retired American soccer player who played professionally in the American Indoor Soccer Association and is currently the head coach of the Clemson University men's soccer team. Playing career Noonan attended Middlebury College, playing on the men's soccer team from 1979 to 1982. He was a 1981 and 1982 Division III NCAA First Team All American. Noonan played for the Louisville Thunder in the American Indoor Soccer Association. In 1986, he signed with the Fort Wayne Flames where he spent two seasons. In 2017, Noonan was inducted into the Middlebury College Athletics Hall of Fame for his playing time there. Coaching career In 1989, Noonan was hired as head coach of the Wheaton College men's soccer team. The team had a 4–11–0 record his first season, but he took them to a 12–5–1 record his second season. The 2014 NCAA Division I men's soccer season was the 56th season of NCAA championship men's college soccer. The regular season began in late August 2014 and continued into November 2014. The season culminated with the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship in December 2014. There are 205 teams in men's Division I competition. The defending champions were the Notre Dame Fighting Irish who won its first NCAA soccer title by defeating the Maryland 2-1 in the 2013 College Cup. Robert Brown Clark (born 26 September 1945) is a Scottish football player and coach. Clark, who played as a goalkeeper, spent most of his playing career with Aberdeen. He also played for Queen's Park, Washington Whips, San Antonio Thunder and Clyde. Clark played 17 times for Scotland and represented the Scottish League.
