Muay Thai ( th, มวยไทย, , ), sometimes referred to as Thai boxing, is a combat sport that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the "art of eight limbs", as it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees and shins. Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy ( th, เพชรมรกต เพชรยินดีอะคาเดมี; born February 14, 1994), formerly known as Phetmorakot Wor Sangprapai, is a Thai Muay Thai kickboxer, originally from the Ubon Ratchathani province, Northeast of Thailand, but now fighting out of Bangkok. Capitan Petchyindee Academy ( th, กัปปิตัน เพชรยินดีอะคาเดมี; born March 24, 1993) is a Thai Muay Thai fighter. He is the former ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion and Lumpinee Stadium Super Welterweight champion. As of December 2020 he is the number 7 pound-for-pound Muay Thai fighter in the world according to The Nation. Savvas Michael (Greek: Σάββας Μιχαήλ; born February 17, 1999) is a Cypriot Muay Thai fighter. He is the current WBC Muaythai World Lightweight champion.
