Muay Thai ( th, มวยไทย, , ), sometimes referred to as Thai boxing, is a combat sport that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. Virat Vachirarattanawong ( th, วิรัตน์ วชิรรัตนวงศ์; born: November 25, 1947 in Bangkok) is a Thai Muay Thai and professional boxing promoter. He is the founder and chairman of Petchyindee Boxing Promotions aka Diamond Boxing Promotions, a Muay Thai and professional boxing promotion company based in Bangkok. He has a nickname "Sia Nao" (เสี่ยเน้า). Biography Virat was born in Thai Chinese wealthy family in Bangkok, his family has a diamond and gold business.
