Petar Mijović
Petar Mijović ( sr-Cyrl, Петар Мијовић; born 23 February 1982) is a Montenegrin professional basketball coach who is the U-19 head coach and youth system coordinator for Studentski centar of the Prva A Liga. Coaching career Budućnost (2017–2021) In 2017 Mijović joined the coaching staff of Budućnost under-19 as head coach. In the next season, he was added to the senior team's coaching staff. On 24 April 2019, following the resignation of Jasmin Repeša, Mijović was named new head coach of Budućnost. On 20 June 2019, his position took Slobodan Subotić. On 19 October 2019, Subotić resigned and Mijović was appointed head coach of Budućnost for the second time in his head coaching career. In June 2020, he extended his contract with Budućnost for the 2020–21 season. On 27 January 2021, Mijović resigned as the head coach. Coach (basketball)
Basketball coaching is the act of directing and strategizing the behavior of a basketball team or individual basketball player. Basketball coaching typically encompasses the improvement of individual and team offensive and defensive skills, as well as overall physical conditioning. Coaches also have the responsibility to improve their team by player development, strategy, and in-game management. Coaches also teach and inspire their team to be their best. Coaching is usually performed by a single person, often with the help of one or more assistants. The 2018–19 Prva A Liga, known as Erste košarkaške lige by sponsorship reasons, is the 13th season of the Montenegrin Basketball League, the top tier basketball league on Montenegro. Mornar is the defending champion. Competition format Nine of the eleven teams that play the league join the regular season and play a two-round robin competition where the six first qualified teams join the Super Liga with the two 2018–19 ABA League teams ( Budućnost Voli and Mornar). The last qualified team would play a relegation playoff against the second qualified of the Prva B. Polish Basketball League
Polska Liga Koszykówki (PLK) (English language, English: Polish Basketball League) is a professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league in Poland. It constitutes the first and highest-tier level of the Polish basketball league system, Polish league pyramid. The winning team of the final round are crowned the Polish Champions of that season. It began in 1947–48, with the name of I Liga, and was originally organized by the Polish Basketball Federation. The league changed to its current form, beginning with the 1997–98 season, after the Polska Liga Koszykówki SA, PLK SA (the Polish Basketball League Joint-stock company) took control over the league (the PLK SA was created in 1995). Slobodan Subotić
Slobodan "Piksi" Subotić ( sr-Cyrl, Слободан Суботић, el, Σλόμπονταν Σούμποτιτς; born 15 August 1956) is a Slovenian professional basketball coach and former player. He last served as the head coach for Budućnost of the ABA League, Montenegrin League and the EuroCup. He has Greek citizenship, which he obtained to circumvent EU administrative restrictions while playing and coaching there. To be able to obtain Greek citizenship, he had to administratively change his name in the eyes of Greek law, and is thus known there as Slompontan "Lefteris" Soumpotits ( el, Σλόμπονταν "Λευτέρης" Σούμποτιτς). Jasmin Repeša
Jasmin Repeša (born 1 June 1961) is a Bosnian-born Croatian professional basketball coach and former player whose last coached team was Fortitudo Bologna of the Italian Serie A. Repeša has won numerous pro club competitions during his head coaching career, and he was also a somewhat successful basketball player during his youth, while playing for KK Čapljina early on in his pro career. Early life Repeša was a basketball player for his hometown team KK Čapljina during the 1980s. Coaching career On 21 June 2013, Repeša was appointed head coach of Cedevita of the Croatian League.
