Melaka Chief Minister’s Gallery
Malacca Chief Minister Gallery ( ms, Galeri Ketua Menteri Melaka) is a gallery which displays gifts, souvenirs, personal collections and biographies of the State's Chief Ministers in Bukit Peringgit. Ghafar Baba
Tun Abdul Ghafar bin Baba ( ms, عبدالغفار بن باب, label= Jawi, script=arab, italic=unset; 18 February 1925 – 23 April 2006) was a Malaysian politician who served as 6th Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia from 1986 to 1993. Life and career He was born on 18 February 1925 in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan, the son of an impoverished villager. Ghafar Baba became a teacher and later became a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) political party, which is part of the Barisan Nasional coalition. In 1942, he married Toh Puan Asmah Binti Alang and they had twelve children, five of whom have died. In the early 1990s, he married his second wife Toh Puan Heryati Abdul Rahim, with whom he had one child. In 1986, he was appointed as Deputy Prime Minister by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. Malacca
Malacca ( ms, Melaka) is a state in Malaysia located in the southern region of the Malay Peninsula, next to the Strait of Malacca. Melaka Sentral
Melaka Sentral is the largest public transportation terminal in Malacca, Malaysia. It occupies 46.6 hectares of land and located between Lebuh AMJ (Jalan Tun Abdul Razak) and Jalan Panglima Awang and was opened on 14 May 2004. The construction of the bus terminal, costed RM 610, 000, began in February 2003 and completed in the following year. It was constructed with high roofs which allows sunlight to reach the inside of the terminal building and based on the design of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Melaka Tengah District (Central Malacca) is one of the 4 administrative districts in Malacca, Malaysia. It borders Masjid Tanah District to the north-west, Alor Gajah District to the north and Jasin District to the east. The capital of the state, Malacca City, is located in this district.
