Pepa Bueno
María José "Pepa" Bueno Márquez (born 1964) is a Spanish journalist. She was host of the well-known radio show ''Hoy por hoy'' in Cadena SER. In 2021, she was appointed as editor-in-chief of ''El País''. Born in Badajoz (province), Badajoz, Bueno started her career as news director of the local station of Radio Nacional de España (RNE) in Extremadura and later was transferred to Aragón, Spain, Aragón. She was also editor of ''Diario 16''. In 1991 Bueno joins Televisión Española to anchor the regional news bulletin in the Territorial Center in Andalucia. Soon she was promoted to the Madrid Territorial Center. In September 1996, along with , she began directing and anchoring the current affairs show ''Gente (TV show), Gente''. She stayed there for eight years. Badajoz (province)
The province of Badajoz () is a province of western Spain located in the autonomous community of Extremadura. It was formed in 1833. It is bordered by the provinces of Cáceres in the north, Toledo, Ciudad Real in the east, Córdoba in the south-east, Seville, and Huelva in the south and Portugal in the west. Luis Mariñas
Luis Mariñas Lage (7 August 1947 – 27 December 2010) was a Spanish journalist. Biography Mariñas began his career in 1969 with Televisión Española, where he remained for the next twenty years. He worked in the regional center of TVE in Galicia, who became director between 1973 and 1976, after Luis Salguero Prieto, who was in charge between 1971 and 1973. At the age of 19, he began working in the studios of TVE in Prado del Rey, Madrid, with Victoriano Fernández Assisi, Jesus Alvarez and Miguel de la Quadra-Salcedo. By then participated in the founding of one of the first general magazines of large circulation which was titled ''Personas''. He also was an exhaustive collaborator of RNE.
