Sandra Rippel
Sandra Jenkins (born July 20, 1961 in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta as Sandra Rippel) is a Canadian curler from Salmon Arm, British Columbia. Jenkins was the alternate player for the Canadian women's team at the 2006 Winter Olympics skipped by Shannon Kleibrink. Sandra got to play in a few games as some of the members of the team had been ill. Jenkins played second for Cathy Shaw at the 1982 and 1983 Scott Tournament of Hearts. The team lost in the final in 1983 to Penny LaRocque of Nova Scotia. In 1987 Jenkins was the third for Ken Ursuliak at the Canadian Mixed Curling Championship. Also in 1987 she was in the Olympic Trials playing for Marilyn Darte. She returned to the Scotts in 1989 as an alternate for Debbie Shermack. In 1993 she joined up with Shannon Kleibrink as her third at that year's Scott Tournament of Hearts. She would not play with Kleibrink again until the 2005 Canadian Olympic Trials. Susan Froud
Susan Froud (born March 31, 1970 in Newmarket, Ontario) is a Canadian curler from Loretto, Ontario. Career Froud won a provincial university championship with the University of Waterloo in 1996. Froud played in the inaugural Canada Cup of Curling in 2003, playing second for the Marilyn Bodogh rink. Bodogh did not play in the event, so the team was skipped by Penny Shantz. The team finished the event with a 1–3 record, missing the playoffs. Froud played in the Canada Cup again in 2005, playing second for Anne Merklinger the team finished first in their pool with a 4–1 record, but lost both of their playoff games, settling for third place. During her World Curling Tour career, Froud played for several skips, including Merklinger, Janet McGhee, Jacqueline Harrison and Susan McKnight. Theresa Breen
Theresa Breen (born December 4, 1965) is a Canadian curler from Bedford, Nova Scotia. She currently skips her own team out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Curling career Breen was the long-time third for the Anne Merklinger rink in the 1990s. As a member of that team, she would win four provincial championships, and would play in four Scott Tournament of Hearts, representing Ontario. Her first Hearts appearance was in 1993, where the team won a bronze medal, after losing to Manitoba's Maureen Bonar in the semi-final. The team returned to the Hearts the following year, but missed the playoffs after winning just 4 round robin games. The team returned to the Hearts in 1998, making it all the way to the final before losing to Alberta's Cathy Borst to settle for silver. Breen's final Hearts appearance was in 2000 where the team once again made it all the way to the final before losing, this time to British Columbia's Kelley Law rink. Marilyn Bodogh
Marilyn C. Bodogh (also known as Marilyn Darte) (born March 9, 1955) is a Canadian curler, colour commentator and political candidate. Bodogh is best known for her two World Curling Championships in 1986 and 1996 and her two Tournament of Hearts championships to go with them. Biography Born in Toronto, Ontario, she moved to St. Catharines with her family when she was nine years old. Her first job was working with her family's lumber company. At 22, she opened a flower shop. Through marriage, she would later become co-owner of the George Darte Funeral Home. In 1980, Bodogh played third for her sister, Christine Bodogh, representing Ontario at the 1980 Canadian Ladies Curling Association Championship.
