Melissa Shusterman
Melissa Shusterman (born September 8, 1967) is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 157th District, which covers parts of Chester County and Montgomery County. She was elected in 2018. Early life and education Shusterman was born in Augusta, Georgia and raised in Tredyffrin Township. She attended Conestoga High School. In 1989, she graduated from Lafayette College with a bachelor's degree in Russian Studies and History. She later obtained a master's degree in Film and Television from American University in Washington, DC. Shusterman returned to the Chester County area and launcheFedora Media a video production company, while raising her son as a single mother. Career Shusterman was first elected in 2018, successfully unseating four-term incumbent Republican Representative Warren Kampf with 57 percent of the vote. Wilkes University
Wilkes University is a private university in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. It has over 2,200 undergraduates and over 2,200 graduate students (both full and part-time). The Wilkes University Election Statistics Project is a free online resource documenting Pennsylvania political election results dating back to 1796. Currently, the database documents Pennsylvania's county-level vote totals for President, Governor, United States Senator, and Congressional elections back to 1796. The database also contains directories for members of the Pennsylvania Provincial Assembly and the Pennsylvania General Assembly, dating back to 1682. According to the database's designer, Wilkes University Professor Harold E. Cox, "No other state has anything like it." The project's impetus began in 1996, when Cox inquired about 19th century election statistics, only to find that the data would cost $1,000. Paul Drucker
Paul J. Drucker (born April 17, 1945) is an American politician and former member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He represented the 157th district from 2009 through 2010 as a Democrat. Professional career Drucker is a practicing attorney. He has held a variety of positions, including working in the district attorney's office under future Senator Arlen Specter. Drucker has worked as a lecturer, and as a judge pro tem for the Philadelphia Common Pleas Court. He is also certified mediator in U.S. District Court, a Hearing Committee member of the Disciplinary Board of the state Supreme Court and a member of the board of directors of the First Bank of Philadelphia.
