Pengiran Ahmad Raffae
Tun Pengiran Haji Ahmad Raffae bin Orang Kaya Pengiran Haji Omar (4 November 1908 – 18 March 1995) was the second Governor of the Malaysian state of Sabah. Personal life Tun Pengiran Haji Ahmad Raffae was born on 4 November 1908 at Sipitang, Beaufort, British North Borneo. His father was Orang Kaya Kaya Pengiran Haji Omar, a well known native officer who served as the first local Deputy Assistant District Officer of Putatan from 1915 until 1922. Tun Pengiran Haji Ahmad Raffae married Toh Puan Dayang Hajah Kusnah binti Enche Sian and they were blessed with five children. His second wife was Dayang Supinah binti Abdullah. Education Tun Pengiran Haji Ahmad Raffae studied at Putatan English Special School and later at a school in Papar District (1918 - 1922). He later went to pursue his studies at a Malay Vernacular School in Sipitang until 1924. The Malay language has a complex system of styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Labuan (), officially the Federal Territory of Labuan ( ms, Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan), is a Federal Territory of Malaysia. Its territory includes and six smaller islands, off the coast of the state of Sabah in East Malaysia. The Governor of Sabah (Yang di-Pertua Negeri) is the ceremonial head of state of the Malaysian state of Sabah. The Yang di-Pertua Negeri is styled Tuan Yang Terutama (TYT; "His Excellency"). The current officeholder is Juhar Mahiruddin, who was sworn in on 1 January 2011. Appointment The office of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri (governor) is established by the Constitution of Sabah. According to Article 1 (1) of the Constitution, the office must exist and be appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (king) after consultation with the chief minister. Sabah State Mosque ( ms, Masjid Negeri Sabah) is the state mosque of Sabah, located at Sembulan roundabout between Jalan Mat Salleh and Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. History Construction began in 1970 and was completed in 1975. The architectural design was by Arkitek Jurubina Bertiga, led by Dato Baharuddin Abu Kassim. Ranau District
The Ranau District ( ms, Daerah Ranau) is an administrative district in the Malaysian state of Sabah, part of the West Coast Division which includes the districts of Kota Belud, Kota Kinabalu, Papar, Penampang, Putatan, Ranau and Tuaran.
