Penbay International Circuit
Penbay International Circuit (PIC; ) is a motor sport circuit in Donggang Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan. The circuit is long with widths from 12m to 20m. It has five configurations. Donggang, Pingtung
Donggang Township or Tungkang Township () is an urban township in west-central Pingtung County, Taiwan. Located on Taiwan's western coastline, along the Taiwan Strait, it has one of Taiwan's largest fishing harbors. Dapeng Bay with its national scenic area is just south of Donggang. The town also hosts Donglong Temple (), which is dedicated to "Lord Wen" (, the word Wen is pronounced the same as "plague" in Chinese) and is known for its triannual ceremony of "burning lord's boat" (burning plague boat). The Sepang International Circuit ( ms, Litar Antarabangsa Sepang) is a motorsport race track in Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia. The Tyrrell 026 was the car with which the Tyrrell Formula One team competed in the 1998 Formula One season, it was the last Tyrrell car to compete in F1. It was driven by Ricardo Rosset and rookie Toranosuke Takagi. This was Tyrrell's last year in F1, as Ken Tyrrell had sold the team to British American Racing prior to the first race. Paul Stoddart had almost bought the team prior to BAR's takeover, but the deal was done. Nevertheless, Stoddart's European Aviation sponsored the team and provided transportion during the season. Gary Thompson (racing Driver)
Gary Thompson (born 31 May 1992 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish racecar driver. Career Thompson started racing in karts in 2003, finishing 5th in the Cadet Irish Championship. His karting career continued in the British Cadet Championship and later the British JICA Championship, where he finished 6th in 2006 and 3rd in 2007. In 2009 Thompson moved into Formula Cars and raced in the Formula BMW Pacific Championship, winning the opening race at the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia. In total Thompson had 11 podium finishes and finished 2nd overall, winning the Rookie of the Year Cup.
