Pekka Lyyski
Pekka Lyyski (born July 26, 1953) is a Finnish former football coach. In 2003 Lyyski took charge of the IFK Mariehamn and brought the team in two years from Kakkonen to Veikkausliiga for the 2005 season for the first time in club history. He served as the coach of Mariehamn for 12 years before retiring in 2015. His son Jani played for IFK Mariehamn. Teams RoPS finished at the bottom of the 2009 season and were relegated to Ykkönen. The 2009 Veikkausliiga was the 79th season of top-tier football in Finland. It began on 18 April 2009 and ended on 17 October 2009. Inter Turku were the defending champions. The championship was won by HJK Helsinki, who came out on top of a three-team race which also involved Honka Espoo and TPS Turku. On the bottom end of the table, RoPS were relegated to the Ykkönen while JJK will have to compete in a two-legged relegation play-off. Promotion and relegation KooTeePee finished at the bottom of the 2008 season and were relegated to Ykkönen. Jani Lyyski
Jani Lyyski (born 16 March 1983) is a Finnish former footballer. Club career Lyyski started his career in IFK Mariehamn he played for seven years, before moving on to Vaasan Palloseura in 2008. On 26 November, he signed on for Swedish side Djurgårdens IF. In March 2012 Lyyski returned to IFK Mariehamn. His father Pekka Lyyski is a former manager of IFK Mariehamn. International career On 18 January 2010 Lyyski made his first appearance at Finnish national football team in friendly match against South Korea in Málaga, Spain. He was in the starting line-up and played the whole match.
