Peggy Connelly
Peggy Connelly (September 25, 1931 – June 11, 2007) was an American singing, singer and actress. Early years Connelly was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. George F. Connelly, and she has four siblings. As a teenager, she sang for military personnel in Texas in shows sponsored by the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, Red Cross and the United Service Organizations, USO. She also worked as a model for photographers and in fashion shows. Career Connelly's singing career began on radio stations in Fort Worth and with local dance bands (the first Harvey Anderson's) in the Fort Worth-Dallas area. In 1956 she recorded an album of standards, ''Peggy Connelly with Russell Garcia (composer), Rusell Garcia – That Old Black Magic'', for Bethlehem Records, reissued by Fresh Sound on ''Russell Garcia's Wigville Band''. Shreveport ( ) is a city in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It is the third most populous city in Louisiana after New Orleans and Baton Rouge, respectively. Thomas Richard Martin (January 30, 1922 – May 24, 2008), known professionally as Dick Martin, was an American comedian and director. He was known for his role as the co-host of the sketch comedy program ''Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In'' from 1968 to 1973. Early life and career Martin was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, to William, a salesman, and Ethel Martin, a homemaker. In the early 1930s, the family moved to Detroit, where his teenage years included a bout with tuberculosis, which kept him out of the military. Early in his career, Martin was a staff writer for ''Duffy's Tavern'', a radio situation comedy. He and Dan Rowan formed the comedy team Rowan and Martin in 1952 and played in nightclubs throughout the United States and overseas. Sarah Tullamore is an English-born actress, singer, dancer and voice-over artist. Biography Tullamore was born in Carshalton, a suburb of the London Borough of Sutton, England and grew up in Banstead. She began her vocal career as a child singer with the Coloma Girls' School Choir, one of the largest school choirs in Southern England.
