Wellard is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Kwinana. The suburb was named in 1923, originally referred to as 13-Mile Camp (part of the Peel Estate), it was named after John Wellard, an early settler who owned a farm about from the suburb. Greenvale is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, north of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Hume local government area. Greenvale recorded a population of 21,274 at the 2021 census. Greenvale is located between Yuroke and Attwood, on Mickleham Road. Tonsley is a southern suburb of Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia. History The suburb of Tonsley was created on 27 January 2017 by dividing the suburb of Clovelly Park in half. Lightsview is a suburb in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. It was created in April 2016 from parts of Northgate, Greenacres and Northfield. Alkimos is a coastal suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located north-northwest of Perth's central business district. It is part of the City of Wanneroo local government area. Burns Beach is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located north of Perth's central business district at the northern fringe of the City of Joondalup. Burns Beach has maintained much of its original character as a small coastal village even with its loss of isolation, and the beach is popular among hang gliding enthusiasts. History The land at Burns Beach was originally owned by the Midland Railway Company. In 1908, following a request from 50 local residents, the Wanneroo Road Board (which eventually became City of Wanneroo) successfully applied for a reserve for camping and a health resort.
