Peach (pop Band)
Peach (known as Peach Union in the United States) was a British pop/dance/ electronic trio formed in London in 1995. The band had several singles in the mid to late 1990s. They are best known for the 1997 hit " On My Own". Overview The trio was composed of the London-based singer-songwriter Lisa Lamb with the songwriter Paul Statham and the record producer Pascal Gabriel. Before Peach, Lamb had a solo career as a singer-songwriter in London, releasing a drum and bass version of the classic soft-rock song " Summer Breeze", in 1995 and working as a jazz singer. Statham had worked extensively with the former Bauhaus member Peter Murphy, and Gabriel already had a long career in the pop and dance music industry, most notably with S'Express and Bomb the Bass. Peach released one album, '' Audiopeach'', in 1998 on Mute/Epic Records, inspired by early 1980s music. Bauhaus (band)
Bauhaus are an English rock band formed in Northampton in 1978. Known for their dark image and gloomy sound, Bauhaus are best known as one of the pioneers of gothic rock, although they mixed many genres, including dub, glam rock, psychedelia, and funk. Victoria Christina Hesketh (born 4 May 1984), better known by her stage name Little Boots, is an English electropop singer-songwriter and DJ. She was previously a member of the band Dead Disco. Phillipa Margaret "Pip" Brown (born 13 July 1979), better known by her stage name Ladyhawke, is a New Zealand singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She took her stage name from Richard Donner's 1985 film '' Ladyhawke''. Brown was part of the Wellington-based band Two Lane Blacktop (2001–2003), before moving to Australia where, in 2004, she formed the art rock band Teenager with Nick Littlemore of Pnau.
