Paulus Arajuuri
Paulus Verneri Arajuuri (born 15 June 1988) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for HIFK. He began his senior club career playing for FC Espoo, before making his Veikkausliiga debut with Honka at age 18 in 2006. Arajuuri made his international debut for Finland in January 2010 at the age of 21. Club career Early career Arajuuri made his debut on senior level in the ranks of FC Espoo during the 2005 season of the third-tier Kakkonen. He gained eight caps and scored one goal. During the 2006 season, he made his debut in the Veikkausliiga with FC Honka against rivals HJK Helsinki. In that season, he was also sent on loan back to FC Espoo for 8 matches. Polish Super Cup
The Polish Super Cup (, ) is an annually held match between the champions of the Ekstraklasa and the Polish Cup winners or, if the Ekstraklasa champions also win the Polish Cup, the Cup's runners-up. As of 2021, the Polish Super Cup has been played 31 times. The most successful club is Lech Poznań, who won 6 times. The most common participant are Legia Warsaw, as they played fourteen final games and have lost their eight following finals since 2012. Unlike in Polish Cup, there is no extra time played in the competition, therefore in case of a draw after regular time match goes straight into a penalty shoot-out. 2014–15 Polish Cup
The 2014–15 Polish Cup was the sixty-first season of the annual Polish football knockout tournament. It began on 19 July 2014 with the first matches of the Extra Preliminary Round and ended on 2 May 2015 with the Final, in which Legia Warsaw defeated Lech Poznań for a record 17th title. As winners, Legia qualified for the qualifying tournament of the 2015–16 UEFA Europa League. Polish Cup
The Polish Cup in football ( pl, Puchar Polski w piłce nożnej ) is an elimination tournament for Polish football clubs, held continuously from 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( pl, Puchar Tysiąca Drużyn ). Participation is open to any club registered with the Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid. Reserve and veteran teams are also eligible, with reserve teams reaching the final on two occasions (and winning it once). The Cup is popular among lower-level teams, as it gives them a chance to play better known sides. 2014–15 Ekstraklasa
The 2014–15 Ekstraklasa (currently named T-Mobile Ekstraklasa due to sponsorship reasons), is the 81st season of the highest level of football leagues in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927. It began on 18 July 2014. A total of 16 teams are participating, 14 of which competed in the league during the 2013–14 season, while the remaining two were promoted from the I Liga. Each team played a total of 30 matches, half at home and half away. Legia Warsaw were the defending champions, having won their 10th title last season, but Lech Poznań won their 7th title. The 2013–14 Ekstraklasa (named T-Mobile Ekstraklasa for sponsorship reasons) was the 88th season of the Polish Football Championship, the 80th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927 and the 6th season of the Ekstraklasa under its current title. The league was operated by the Ekstraklasa SA. A total of 16 teams were participating, 14 of which competed in the league during the 2012–13 season, while the remaining two were promoted from the I liga. Poland Ekstraklasa (), meaning "Extra Class" in Polish, named PKO Ekstraklasa since the 2019–20 season due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams. Svenska Cupen (, ''The Swedish Cup'') is a knockout cup competition in Swedish football and the main Swedish football cup. Svenska Cupen usually refers to the men's tournament, although a women's tournament is also held. Each year 96 teams compete, comprising the 16 teams from Allsvenskan and the 16 teams of Superettan together with 64 teams from lower tiers of the league system. Kakkonen
Kakkonen or II divisioona is the third level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen (Finnish for 'Number Two'; sv, Tvåan). Sakari Tukiainen finished the season 2014 as the top goal scorer and setting a new league record with 40 goals for the Kakkonen.
