Paul Rouhana
Paul Rouhana, OLM (born 13 November 1954, in Amsheet, Lebanon) is Auxiliary bishop of the Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Joubbé, Sarba and Jounieh to Sarba. Life Paul Rouhana entered the OLM in 1971, making his religious vows on 17 January 1978, and receiving on 27 June 1982, the sacrament of ordination. On 16 June 2012 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him titular bishop of Antarados and chose him to be Auxiliary bishop to Sarba. Maronite Patriarch of Antioch, Cardinal Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, OMM, ordained him on 28 July of the same year to the episcopate. Lebanese Maronite Order
The Baladites, formally known as the Lebanese Maronite Order (; abbreviated OLM), is a monastic order among the Levant-based, Catholic Maronite Church, which from the beginning has been specifically a monastic Church. The order was founded in 1694 in the Monastery of Mart Moura, Ehden, Lebanon, by three Maronite young men from Aleppo, Syria, under the patronage of Patriarch Estephan El Douaihy (1670–1704). The Aleppian monks of Aleppo, a city in present Syria resulted from a split with the Baladites. Pope Clement XIV sanctioned this separation in 1770. Simon Atallah, OAM (born on 10 January 1937 in Hemayri, Lebanon) is a Lebanese Maronite emeritus eparch of the Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Baalbek-Deir El Ahmar. Life Simon Atallah joined the OAM and received on 8 December 1963 his ordination to the priesthood. The General Chapter elected him in 1999 Superior general of his order. The Synod of the Maronite Church elected him on 24 September 2005 eparch of Baalbek-Deir El Ahmar. Pope Benedict XVI confirmed this election on 28 December 2005. Francis Némé Baïssari (September 18, 1933 in Knat, Lebanon – February 24, 2015) was a Maronite Catholic bishop of the Maronite Catholic Patriarchate of Antioch and of the Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Joubbé, Sarba and Jounieh. Michel Aoun
Michel Naim Aoun ( ar, ميشال نعيم عون ; born 30 September 1933) is a Lebanese politician and former military general who served as the President of Lebanon from 31 October 2016 until 30 October 2022. Born in Haret Hreik to a Maronite Christian family, Aoun joined the Military Academy in 1955 and graduated as an artillery officer in the Lebanese Army. In 1984, he became the youngest Commander of the Army, at the age of 49 years. Edgard Madi or Edgard Amine Madi (born 23 March 1956 in Beit Mery, Lebanon) is the bishop of the Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon of São Paulo in Brazil. François Eid, OMM (born on 24 July 1943 in Mtolleh, Chouf District, Lebanon) is a retired Maronite Bishop of the Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Cairo and Procurator of the Maronite Patriarch at the Holy See.
