Paul Ross
Paul Ross (born 31 December 1956) is an English television and radio presenter, journalist and media personality. He is the son of Martha Ross and the elder brother of Jonathan Ross. Early life Growing up in outer east London, Ross was educated at Norlington School for Boys, and later read English at the University of Kent. Realising he would not be able to follow the academic career he favoured, "an English lecturer at a polytechnic", he commenced training as a journalist at the University of Exeter and subsequently started his career with the ''Western Times'' in Exeter in 1982. Career Television Ross became a researcher at London Weekend Television before becoming an editor for ''The Six O'Clock Show'' and ''The London Programme''. He worked as the series editor on series 3 and 4 of Channel 4's magazine style programme '' The Word'', and became executive producer for series 5. Romford
Romford is a large town in east London and the administrative centre of the London Borough of Havering. It is located northeast of Charing Cross and is one of the major metropolitan centres identified in the London Plan. Historically, Romford was a market town in the county of Essex, and formed the administrative centre of the liberty of Havering before that liberty was dissolved in 1892. ITV (TV Network)
ITV is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network. It was launched in 1955 as Independent Television to provide competition to BBC Television (established in 1936). ITV is the oldest commercial network in the UK. Since the passing of the Broadcasting Act 1990, it has been legally known as Channel 3 to distinguish it from the other analogue channels at the time, BBC1, BBC2 and Channel 4. BBC One
BBC One is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network owned and operated by the BBC. She co-presented ''Blue Peter'' from May 1980 until June 1983, and hosted the Saturday-morning series ''Saturday Superstore'' and ''Going Live!''. Early life and career Greene was born in St Pancras, London, the daughter of Welsh DIY expert Harry Greene and English actress Marjie Lawrence. She is the elder sister of presenter Laura Greene. Lynne Perrie (born Jean Dudley; 7 April 1931 – 24 March 2006) was an English actress, singer and television personality, best known as Mrs Casper in Ken Loach's 1969 film '' Kes'', Mrs Petty in the television series '' Queenie's Castle'', and as Ivy Tilsley in ''Coronation Street''. Early life Perrie was the second of four children; a brother, Victor, died before she was born. Her younger brother was actor Duggie Brown. ''The Very Famous Paul Ross Show'' was a television chat show pilot, presented by Paul Ross. The pilot aired on '' The Family Channel'' on 7 April 1996 at 7:10pm. It ran for just the one episode. The programme was a mixture of chat and entertainment which aimed to deal with all forms of fame. The pilot featured studio interviews with comedians Cannon and Ball, pop group Black Lace and actors Danniella Westbrook, Christopher Quinten and Lynne Perrie. Actor Adam West also gave an exclusive interview. Another feature of the show included 'Driveways of the Rich and Famous', in which the driveways of President Bill Clinton and actor Brad Pitt featured. Sky One was a British pay television channel operated and owned by Sky Group (a division of Comcast). Originally launched on 26 April 1982 as Satellite Television, it was Europe's first satellite and non-terrestrial channel.
