Paul Morris (hurler)
Paul Morris (born 23 February 1990) is an Irish Hurling, hurler who plays for Wexford Senior Hurling Championship, Wexford Senior Championship club Ferns St Aidan's GAA, Ferns St Aidan's and, formerly, at senior level for the Wexford county hurling team, Wexford county team. He usually lines out as a left corner-forward. Playing career FCJ Bunclody Morris first came to prominence as a hurler with FCJ Bunclody in Bunclody. He played in every grade of hurling before eventually joining the college's senior hurling team. On 22 April 2007, Morris was at midfield when FCJ Bunclody faced Cross & Passion College from Ballycastle, County Antrim, Ballycastle in the All-Ireland Colleges B Championship final. He top scored with 0-08 and ended the game with a winners' medal following the 1–11 to 0–08 victory. Ferns St Aidan's GAA
Ferns St Aidan's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Ferns, County Wexford, Ireland. The club was founded in 1886 and fields teams in hurling, Gaelic football and camogie. Overview Facilities Ferns St Aidan's has three full-sized adult pitches (one of which is the exact dimensions of Croke Park, and is regularly used by county teams for training) as well as a smaller, underage, pitch. The club also have a hurling wall for practice sessions, a clubhouse with four dressing rooms and a meeting room, two tennis courts and a walkway around the grounds. 2007 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship
The 2007 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 77th staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. The championship began on 21 April 2007 and ended on 2 September 2007. Tipperary entered the championship as the defending champions. On 2 September 2007, Tipperary won the championship following a 3-14 to 2-11 defeat of Cork in the All-Ireland final. This was their second All-Ireland title in-a-row. Galway GAA
The Galway County Boards of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae na Gaillimhe) or Galway GAA are one of the 32 county boards in Ireland; they are responsible for Gaelic games in County Galway, and for the Galway county teams. Michael Jacob
Michael Jacob (born 2 August 1980) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays in the centre-forward position on the Wexford senior hurling team. Early life Michael Jacob was born in Oulart, County Wexford in 1980. He was born into a family that had a strong association with Gaelic games, as his father, Mick Jacob, won both Leinster and All-Ireland medals in hurling with Wexford. Jacob was educated locally and later attended Enniscorthy CBS. It was here that his skill at the game of hurling was developed and he won an All-Ireland "B" Colleges' medal with the school. Jacob later studied at the Waterford Institute of Technology, where he won two Fitzgibbon Cup medals. Playing career Club Jacob, along with his brother Rory, plays his club hurling with the famous Oulart–The Ballagh club in Wexford. Leinster Senior Hurling Championship
The Leinster GAA Hurling Senior Championship, known simply as the Leinster Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition in the province of Leinster, and has been contested every year since the 1888 championship. The final, usually held on the first Sunday in July, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during May and June, and the results determine which team receives the Bob O'Keeffe Cup. The Leinster GAA Hurling All-Ireland Under-20 Championship known simply as the Leinster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Leinster.
