Paul Moor
Paul Moor (born 3 September 1978), of Kingston-upon-Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England is one of the world's leading ten-pin bowlers. He bowls on the European Bowling Tour (EBT) and has been a member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) for several years. Early years Moor first started bowling at the age of 10 when he joined the Saturday morning Junior League at the AMF Bowling Centre in Hull. His parents were league bowlers at the centre which was the main influence for him taking up the sport. He enjoyed plenty of success in his latter years as a junior, winning many national titles. He also teamed up with fellow Hull Bowler, Robert Batty and won a multitude of Doubles Titles including victories at the BTBA Junior Nationals at both Senior and Graduate level. Tommy Jones (born November 2, 1978) is an American professional bowler currently competing on the PBA Tour (Professional Bowlers Association), and is a member of the PBA Hall of Fame. He is also an 11-time member of Team USA. Jones, who is right-handed, has been one of the most competitive pros on the PBA Tour since 2004. He is one of only 16 players in PBA history to win at least 20 PBA Tour titles, and has won over $1.8 million in PBA prize money during his 19 full seasons on tour, including over $300,000 in the 2005–06 season alone. Jones won the PBA Rookie of the Year Award for the 2001–02 season, and the PBA Player of the Year Award following the 2005–06 season. Ian John Moor (born 4 January 1974, in North Ferriby, East Riding of Yorkshire) is an English singer, and the ''Stars in Their Eyes Champion of Champions''. Career In 1999 Moor won the ITV show ''Stars in Their Eyes'' produced by Granada Television, Manchester in 1999, with his impersonation of Irish musician and songwriter Chris De Burgh. He sang De Burgh's 1986 song " The Lady in Red". Jason Couch
Jason Couch (born November 8, 1969) is a ten-pin bowler on the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) Tour, and a member of the PBA and USBC Halls of Fame. A left-handed cranker, Couch graduated from Clermont High School in Clermont, Florida and still resides in Clermont. He owns 16 PBA Tour titles, including four major championships, plus one title on the PBA50 Tour. PBA career Couch joined the PBA in 1991. In his first full season (1992), he won PBA Rookie of the Year honors. Jason's first title came at the 1993 Tums Classic, defeating Brian Voss in the final match. Parker Bohn III
Parker Morse Bohn III (born July 13, 1963) is a left-handed American professional bowler. He has been a member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) since 1984, and is a member of the PBA and USBC Halls of Fame. Bohn is one of only eight players in PBA history to accumulate at least 30 career PBA Tour titles, currently ranking fifth all-time with 35. PBA Tour
The PBA Tour is the major professional tour for ten-pin bowling, operated by the Professional Bowlers Association. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, over 3,000 members worldwide make up the PBA. While most of the PBA members are Regional professionals, a small percentage of the bowling membership competes at the national and international level, forming the PBA Tour. The Weber Cup, named after bowling legend Dick Weber, is a men's ten-pin bowling competition between Team Europe and Team USA. The teams competing over three days in a series of singles, doubles and team (baker) matches. The Weber Cup is equivalent to the Ryder Cup in golf and the Mosconi Cup in pool.
