Paul L. Eddy
Paul L. Eddy (August 27, 1899 – January 14, 1979) was an American politician and businessman. Eddy was born on a farm in Victor Township five miles southeast from Howard Lake, Wright County, Minnesota. He went to the Howard Lake public schools and graduated from Howard Lake High School in 1919. He served in the United States Navy from 1917 to 1918 during World War I. Eddy went to the University of Minnesota College of Agriculture. He was a farmer and was the owner of Paul Eddy Nursery. Eddy served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1951 to 1956. He died at the Veterans Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Victor Township is a township in Wright County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 1,069 at the 2000 census. History Victor Township was organized in 1866, and named after Victor, New York. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 34.4 square miles (89.1 km), of which 32.4 square miles (83.9 km) is land and 2.0 square miles (5.2 km) (5.87%) is water. The city of Howard Lake is located within the township geographically, but is a separate entity. Wright County is a county in the East Central part of the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 141,337. Its county seat is Buffalo. The county was founded in 1855.
