Paul Apreku Twum-Barimah is a Ghanaian politician and member of parliament for the Dormaa East constituency in the Bono region of Ghana. Early life and education Paul was born on 23 May 1982 and hails from Kobedia-Asupra in the Bono region of Ghana. He had his SSSCE in 2000. He had his bachelor's degree in Sociology & Information Studies in Social Science in 2006. He further had his MSc in Communications and Public Affairs in 2012. He had his LLB in General Law in 2018. He also had his certificate in Oil, Gas & Petroleum Management in 2020. Career Paul was the Head of Event and Production at Radio Universe. He was also the Station Manager at RGU radio. Kwaku Agyemang-Manu
Kwaku Agyemang-Manu (born September 6, 1955) a Ghanaian politician. He is the Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central and the Minister of Health. He is a Chartered Management Accountant and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Statistics from the University of Ghana in 1989. Early life and education Agyeman-Manu was born in Dormaa Ahenkro in the then Brong Ahafo Region now Bono Region. He had his G.C.E Ordinary Level in 1973 and his G.C.E Advanced Level in 1975. Bono Region
The Bono region is one of the 16 administrative regions of Ghana. It is as a result of the remainder of Brong-Ahafo region when Bono East region and Ahafo region were created. Sunyani, also known as the green city of Ghana, is the regional capital. Sunyani can pride itself as the cleanest capital city and a major conference destination. Creation of the region The region was created after the Ahafo region and Bono East region respectively have been carved out of the then Brong-Ahafo region. This was in fulfillment of a promise made by candidate Nana Akuffo Addo in his 2016 campaign activities. National Democratic Congress (Ghana)
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is a social democratic political party in Ghana, founded by Jerry Rawlings, who was Head of State of Ghana from 1981 to 1993 and the President of Ghana from 1993 to 2001. Following the formation of the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC), which ruled Ghana following the military coup d'état on 31 December 1981, there was pressure from the international community to restore democracy. The NDC was formed as the ruling party ahead of elections in 1992, in which Rawlings was elected president, and in 1996 Rawlings was re-elected as the NDC candidate. Rawlings' second term ended in 2001. The NDC lost the presidency in the 2000 election, and it was not until the 2008 election, that they regained it with John Atta Mills as its candidate.
