Paul-Jacques Bonzon
Paul-Jacques Bonzon (31 August 1908 – 24 September 1978) was a French writer, best known for the series '' Les six compagnons'' ("Six companions"). He was born in Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, Manche and educated in Saint-Lô. In 1935 he married a teacher in Drôme and moved to this department, where he worked as a school teacher and later principal for twenty-five years. He died in Valence in 1978. Anime
is Traditional animation, hand-drawn and computer animation, computer-generated animation originating from Japan. Outside of Japan and in English, ''anime'' refers specifically to animation produced in Japan. However, in Japan and in Japanese, (a term derived from a shortening of the English word ''animation'') describes all animated works, regardless of style or origin. is a Japanese anime series by Nippon Animation, as the 2008 installment of the famed ''World Masterpiece Theater'' series. It is an adaptation of Paul-Jacques Bonzon's novel, ''Les Orphelins de Simitra'' (''The Orphans of Simitra''). It premiered across Japan from 6 January 2008 on Fuji TV's BS Fuji satellite television, broadcast satellite network, and also aired in Japan on Animax. It spanned 52 episodes.
