Uma Shivakumar (c. 1941 – 25 June 2013) was an Indian film and theatre character actress, who career included role in more than 170 Kannada language films and more than 30 plays. She was nicknamed "Baddi Bangaramma" by audiences, after the popular 1984 film of the same name, in which she portrayed a moneylender. Early life Uma was born in Bangalore. Manjula (8 November 1954 – 12 September 1986) was an Indian actress who acted in Kannada language films and also few Tamil (credited as ''Kumari Manjula'') and Telugu films. ''Patnam Vachina Pativrathalu'' is a 1982 Telugu film produced by Atluri Radha Krishna Murthy and directed by Mouli in his Telugu debut.
