Patriot Athletic Conference (OHSAA)
The Patriot Athletic Conference (PAC-12) was an Ohio high school athletic league made up of 12 schools from around the Cleveland area that existed from 2005-2006 to the 2018-2019 school year. All member schools were also members of the Ohio High School Athletic Association. In 2017, the eight primarily Lorain County schools (Brookside, Clearview, Columbia, Firelands, Keystone, Oberlin, and Wellington, as well as Black River) announced they would leave the PAC in 2020 to form their own league. Brooklyn High School (Ohio)
Brooklyn High School is a public high school located in Brooklyn, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Brooklyn City School District. The school colors are royal blue and gold. The sports teams are named the Hurricanes or the 'Canes (Hurcs was also used as a nickname in the past). Athletically, the school is a member of the Chagrin Valley Conference (CVC), and a member of the Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League (GCHSHL) for Hockey. The school was designated a Historic Rock and Roll Landmark in 1998 by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Lorain County is a county in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 312,964. Its county seat is Elyria. Oberlin High School is a public high school in Oberlin, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Oberlin City Schools district. Academics There is a partnership between the high school and Oberlin College. Rocky River is a city in western Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. A suburb of Cleveland, it is located along the shore of Lake Erie approximately west of downtown Cleveland. Lutheran High School West, also known as Lutheran West, is a private college-prep Christian co-ed high school in Rocky River, Ohio, United States, serving Cleveland and Northeast Ohio families since 1958. History In 1946, sixteen Lutheran congregations formally met to establish an association and resolved to establish a Lutheran high school in Cleveland, Ohio. The result was the founding of the Cleveland Lutheran High School Association (CLHSA). In 1948, Lutheran West's precursor, Lutheran High School, was built in the east side of Cleveland. Fairview Park is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. A suburb of Cleveland, it once formed part of the historical Rockport Township, along with the area of West Park and the suburbs of Lakewood and Rocky River.
