Patrick Lewis
Patrick Lewis Jr. (born January 30, 1991) is a former American football center. He played college football at Texas A&M. Lewis was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2013. Early life and high school career Lewis was born on January 30, 1991, in Reserve, Louisiana, to Patrick Sr. and Deidre Lewis. He grew up in LaPlace, Louisiana where he was enrolled in the St. John school system. He played high school football at East St. John High. While at East St. John, Lewis was rated the No. 4 center in the country and the No. 2 strongest offensive lineman in the class of 2009 by Rivals.com. SuperPrep named Lewis a Louisiana Top 40 recruit. UConn Huskies Football
The UConn Huskies football team is a college football team that represents the University of Connecticut in the sport of American football. The team competes in NCAA Division I FBS as an Independent. Connecticut first fielded a team in 1896, and participated in Division I-AA until 1999. The Huskies began their two-year Division I-A transition period in 2000, and became a full-fledged Division I-A team in 2002. From 2000 to 2003 the team played as an independent. 2020 XFL Draft
The 2020 XFL Draft was the inaugural player selection process to fill the rosters of the eight teams of the 2020 reboot of the XFL. The draft was held on October 15–16, 2019, via conference call, with results released through the XFL's social media channels. Structure The XFL player allocation process was held in multiple phases, separated by position groups. The league used a "snake" format in each phase, in which the draft order reversed with each round. The draft order was shuffled for each phase as predetermined through lotteries. A draft pool of 1,000 eligible players was announced in 200-player installments the week before the draft. The Alliance of American Football (AAF) was a professional American football minor league. The AAF consisted of eight centrally owned and operated teams in the southern and western United States, seven of which were located in metropolitan areas with at least one major professional sports franchise. Drew Nowak (born March 7, 1990) is a former American football center. He was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He played college football at Western Michigan. Early years Nowak played high school football at De Pere High School in De Pere, Wisconsin, a suburb of Green Bay. He played mostly on the defensive line but played some center his senior year.
