Drew Nowak
Drew Nowak (born March 7, 1990) is a former American football center. He was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He played college football at Western Michigan. Early years Nowak played high school football at De Pere High School in De Pere, Wisconsin, a suburb of Green Bay. He played mostly on the defensive line but played some center his senior year. He attended college at Western Michigan University. Donning jersey number 92, he totalled 180 total tackles as a defensive lineman. He led the Mid-American Conference in tackles for loss and sacks his senior year. Professional career Jacksonville Jaguars Nowak signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars following the 2012 NFL Draft as a rookie free agent. Center or Centre (C) is a position in gridiron football. The center is the innermost Lineman (American football), lineman of the offensive line on a football team's Offense (sports), offense. The center is also the player who passes (or "Snap (gridiron football), snaps") the ball between his legs to the quarterback at the start of each Play from scrimmage, play. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The National Basketball Association (NBA) does not have a direct analog to an injured reserve list, instead using a more general-purpose "inactive list" that does not require a player to be injured.
