Pathao
Pathao ( bn, পাঠাও); is a Bangladeshi on-demand digital platform company headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The company operates in four cities of Bangladesh: Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna,Sylhet and in two cities of Nepal : Kathmandu and Chitwan . Pathao has ride-sharing services, food delivery, courier and E-commerce services. Pathao is the first major ride-sharing company in Bangladesh to get enlistment certificate from the authorities. Pathao is a Bengali word meaning "send". The company was founded by Fahim Saleh, Hussain Elius, and Shifat Adnan. On 1 November 2021, Pathao appointed its chief financial officer, Fahim Ahmed, as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the ride-sharing platform. Fahim Saleh
Fahim Saleh (December 12, 1986 – July 13, 2020) was a Bangladeshi-American entrepreneur and computer programmer who founded Gokada in Nigeria, Pathao and JoBike. Saleh was also a founding partner of Adventure Capital, a Manhattan-based venture capital firm. Biography Saleh was born in Saudi Arabia, to Bangladeshi parents who frequently relocated for work, before settling in Rochester, New York. He taught himself to program at a young age, and created a variety of online projects such as a website for his family, a teenage social platform and a prank dial service, PrankDial, after his graduation from Bentley University. When he had grown older, Saleh said that he wanted to create something that "adds legitimate value to humanity". He created his first company while still in high school. Sylhet Division ( bn, সিলেট বিভাগ) is the northeastern division of Bangladesh. It is bordered by the Indian states of Meghalaya, Assam and Tripura to the north, east and south respectively, and by the Bangladeshi divisions of Chittagong to the southwest and Dhaka and Mymensingh to the west.
