Pat Brady (politician)
Pat Brady is the former chairman for the Illinois Republican Party, and a former federal and state prosecutor. Brady became the chairman in 2009 when Andrew McKenna resigned to run for governor. Prior to his selection as party chairman, Brady served on the Republican National Committee Budget Committee and chaired the RNC Ethics Committee. Brady had been active in many local and national political campaigns, most notably the John McCain 2008 presidential campaign, McCain for president campaign, where he was a member of the Finance Committee and served as a media surrogate in the Chicago-area media market. Brady's wife, Julie, was co-chairman of the Illinois for McCain campaign. The Illinois Republican Party is the affiliate of the Republican Party in the U.S. state of Illinois founded in May 29, 1856. It is run by the Illinois Republican State Central Committee, which consists of 18 members, one representing each of the state's congressional districts. The 2016 presidential campaign of John Kasich, the 69th governor of Ohio, was announced on July 21, 2015. He was a candidate for the 2016 Republican Party presidential nomination. He earned 154 delegates and won only one contest, his home state, Ohio. Patrick Joseph Quinn Jr. (born December 16, 1948) is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 41st governor of Illinois from 2009 to 2015.
