''Passo dos Ventos'' is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by TV Globo. It premiered on 28 June 1968 and ended on 14 January 1969. It's the sixth "novela das oito" to be aired on the timeslot. Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. This makes them shorter than most other television series, but still much longer than a miniseries. Mário Lago OMC ( November 26, 1911 — May 30, 2002) was a Brazilian lawyer, poet, broadcaster, composer and actor. Theresa Guichard Amayo Brasini (13 July 1933 – 24 January 2022) was a Brazilian actress. Life and career Amayo began her career on stage in the 1950s. She was an early star of Brazilian television, first working for Rede Tupi, and then being one of the first actresses who got an exclusive contract by Rede Globo.
